Jimmie Earl King, 87, Woodston, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Smith County Memorial Hospital, Smith Center.

He was born June 27, 1925, in Alton to Harry and Bertha (Stull) King.

He was a farmer.

Survivors include two brothers, Karl King and Richard King, both of Alton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma, in 2004; and a son, Johnnie, in 1983.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Plain Cemetery, rural Alton.

Visitation will be until 7 p.m. Friday at Clark-Gashaw Mortuary, Osborne.
