JoAnn Dinkel, 80, Quinter, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care.

She was born Sept. 19, 1933, in Park to Alex and Matilda (Billinger) Kraft.

She married Rudolph "Rudy" Dinkel on Oct. 11, 1955, in Park.

Survivors include her husband, Quinter; three sons, Ron Dinkel, Emporia, Allan Dinkel, Quinter, and Tom Dinkel, Garden City; two daughters, Kay Goetz, Park, and Kathy Mathes, Topeka; three sisters, Irene Depperschmidt, Salina,

Edna Cooksey, Park, and Viola Burgardt, Wichita; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheryl Powers.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Grainfield; burial in Grainfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.

A vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care or Hospice Services Inc. in care of the funeral home.
