Joe Kruse, 82, Selden, died Friday, May 9, 2008, at Via Christi Medical Center, Wichita.

He was born March 12, 1926, near Selden to Bernard G. and Barbara C. (Geisinger) Kruse. He attended Green Valley Country School.

He married Janice Brown on May 10, 1975, in Selden. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Jim Kruse and Mike Kruse, both of Selden; two sisters, Florence Zodrow, Leoville, and Germaine Weis, Dresden.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Leoville; burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leoville.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Pauls Funeral Home, Selden, from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, and from 8 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
