John F. Mondero, 90, Pueblo, Colo., died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, in Pueblo.

He was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Ellis to Joseph and Agatha (Riedel) Mondero.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel; a son, Steve; a daughter, Vicki Adams; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be Dec. 29 at a time to be designated later at the home of his daughter, Vicki Adams, in Pueblo.
