Jon Legere, 76, Kenosha, Wis., died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Kindred Kenosha North.

He was born March 14, 1937, in Hays to Louis and Leta (Bechtol) Legere. He was educated in schools in Kansas.

He married Anna Elizabeth "Beth" Brown on Oct. 24, 1964, in Rosemead, Calif. He was employed at Arbitron for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on the farm and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Kenosha; a daughter, Naomi Petravich and husband, John, Pleasant Prairie; three brothers, Claire Legere, Major Legere and wife, Loretta, and Scott Legere and wife, Libby, all of Kansas; two sisters, Jane Jansen, Colorado, and Josephine Gibson, Georgia; and two grandchildren, Audrey and James Petravich, Pleasant Prairie.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Maryann; and a brother, Don.

Services will be at a later date.
