Joseph 'Jack' McGann

Joseph "Jack" McGann, 86, Palco, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Topeka Hospice House.
He was born Aug. 26, 1926, in Great Bend to Thomas Joseph and Esther (Arnold) McGann.
He married Bertha (Hernandez) McGann on Oct 5, 1959, in Parrington, Texas. He was a U.S. veteran serving during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons, Thomas McGann, Hays, Marvin McGann, Kansas City, Mo., Pete McGann, Ellis, and Raymond McGann, Topeka; two daughters, JoAnn Koni, Wakefield, Mass., and Donna McGann, Bella Vista, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Damar; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Palco, with military honors by U.S. Airforce Honor Guard, Wichita.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Plainville.
