Judy A. (Joy) Rohr, 70, Hays, died Monday, July 29, 2013, at her home.

She was born Sept. 14, 1942, in Hays to Walter "Brownie" and Eleanor (Gottschalk) Joy. She was a graduate of Hays High School and attended Loretta Heights College in Denver prior to her marriage.

She married Donald G. Rohr on Aug. 31, 1963, in Hays. She then moved to the Denver area for 40 years before relocating back to Hays in 2003. They owned and operated CURVES for Women, prior to their retirement.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Doug Rohr and wife, Terri, Ellis; a daughter, Nicki Behr and husband, Carl, St. John; two brothers, Frank Joy and wife, Carol, and Fred Joy and wife, Pam, all of Hays; two sisters, Lee McDougal, Alpine, Calif., and Lois Lacoss and husband, Greg, San Marcos, Texas; and five grandchildren, Jordan, Brianna and Kaelyn Rohr, Logan and Landon Behr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, David McDougal.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Robbins Center on the Fort Hays State University campus; interment at Fort Hays Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the center.

Memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Ellis County, Ellis County Historical Society Museum, or Hospice at HaysMed in care of Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601.
