Karen Jean Bach, 70, rural Phillipsburg, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at her home near Woodruff.

She was born May 30, 1943, in Oxford, Neb., to Gene and Eileen (Welden) Covey.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Leland; three sons, Anthony, Phillipsburg, Stuart, Meridian, and Jason, Alma, Neb.; a sister, Connie Miller, Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church, Alma; private inurnment in Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Stuttgart.

There will be no visitation; cremation has taken place.

Friends can sign the book until 5 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
