Kathleen D. Williams, 92, Russell, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Russell Regional Hospital.
She was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Jewell County, to William J. and Mary Agnes (Doyle) Grennan. She grew up in Jewell County north of Beloit and in Cloud County west of Jamestown. She graduated from Mary Mount College with a degree in education and later graduated from San Diego University with a master's degree in special education.
She married Albert Lundblade in 1949. He preceded her in death in 1965. She later married George A. Williams in 1967 in Sacramento, Calif. He preceded her in death in 2005. She was an elementary school teacher in Cloud County and Mitchell County before moving to California.
Survivors include a brother, Father James Grennan; and two sisters, Margaret Daily, Abilene, and Polly Champlin, Mead, Colo.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Russell; graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery near Jamestown.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until vigil services at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
