Kathyrne L. Bradshaw, 90, Hays, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Deseret Health and Rehab Center, Kensington.

She was born May 17, 1923, in Salina to Guy Baine and Mabel Alice (Jamison) Canning. She was a graduate of Brown Mackie Business College.

She married W.D. Bradshaw on Nov. 20, 1944, in Sacramento. He preceded her in death May 24, 1982. She was a legal secretary for many years in Hays.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, American Baptist Women, was a 2,500-hour volunteer with Hays Medical Center working in the gift shop, and was a Red Cross volunteer for 10 years.

She enjoyed antiques, going places with her daughter, rock hunting and golfing with her husband.

Survivors include a son, Mark Bradshaw, Wichita; a daughter, Melita Warren, Hays; two grandchildren, Travis Caughlin and Nathan Bradshaw; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Caughlin and Casey Caughlin; a nephew, Jim Quinn; and a niece, Judy DiMartini.

She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Karen Bradshaw; two brothers, Ralph and Homer Canning; and two sisters, Norma Jean Nordboe and Marjorie Quinn.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine; burial in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays.

Visitation will be from noon until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Alzheimers Association in care of the funeral home.
