Kathy (Kuhn) Thomas, 52, Eureka, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her home.
She was born June 8, 1960, in Hays to Oliver A. and Theresa (Braun) Kuhn. She attended Victoria High School. She graduated from Washburn University with a degree in criminal justice and earned a master's degree from Huntsville Texas College.
She was a corrections counselor for the Department of Corrections with the states of Texas and Kansas. She had been working for the El Dorado Corrections Facilities for a number of years.
She was a member of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her mother, Theresa Kuhn, Victoria; a brother, Robert Kuhn and wife, Deborah, Victoria; a sister, Sharon Bleske and husband, Calvin, Victoria; and two nephews, Jordan Bleske and Ryan Bleske, both of Victoria.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; inurnment in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
A Victoria Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Victoria Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1751 in memory of her father, Oliver Kuhn.
