Kay E. Williams

Kay E. Williams, 72, Hays, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at her home.

She was born March 8, 1936, in Ottawa to Kenneth R. and Velma (Gish) Hinkhouse.

She married J.D. Williams on June 1, 1956, in Hays. She was a 1954 graduate of Hays High School and attended Kansas State University and Fort Hays State University.

She was owner of Hays Travel for 25 years.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Doug Williams and wife, Marcie, and David Williams, all of Hays; and three grandchildren, Jeff Williams, Jamie Williams and Jacob Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Lola (Alexander); a daughter, Debra K. Williams; and a sister, Betty Aubel.

Services were today at Cline's Mortuary of Hays; private burial in Mount Allen Cemetery, Hays.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hays Medical Center or Hays Medical Center Foundation in care of the mortuary.
