Leona M. Kenney, 83, Lamar, Colo., formerly of Plainville, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at her home.

She was born Aug. 29, 1926, in Stockton to Francis and Rose Bair.

Survivors include four sons, Jack Boller, Salina, Bruce Boller, Lamar, Larry Kenney, Phillipsburg, and Dale Kenney, WaKeeney; one stepson, Gary Kenney, Odessa, Texas; one sister, Rosemary Goble, WaKeeney; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Duane Boller, on April 18, 1948; her second husband, Lester Kenney, on March 27, 2000; a daughter, Jeanette Plante; a brother, Leon Bair; and a sister, Janet Plante.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Plainville Christian Church; burial in the Plainville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel, Lamar. There will be no visitation in Plainville; friends may sign the register book from noon to service time at the church. Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, Plainville, is in charge of arrangements.
