Kiandon Christopher Thomas Kirk, Salina, son of Karina Chessmore and Jimmy Lee Kirk, passed away at the age of 5 on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Kiandon was born November 15, 2007 in Hays, KS.

Kiandon loved all of the super heroes, baseball, the beach and the U.S. Army. He was an honorary member of the Kansas National Guard and promoted to the rank of Sergeant to match the rank of his favorite hero, his father. He was always full of questions and interested in everything in the world and his strength taught others as much as they taught him.

There are no direct relatives preceding in death, but Kiandon was welcomed into heaven by many Angels that have watched over him his whole life. He is survived by his mother Karina; father, Jimmy and stepmother, Victoria Kirk; sister, Rushelle Sykes; grandparents, Butch and Peggy Chessmore, John Kirk, Sr. and Delores Garcia and many aunts, uncles as well as his cousins.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, during which time the family will be present. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to Kiandon Kirk Benefit or the Kansas Army National Guard in care of Ryan Mortuary.
