Kit E. Goddard, 56, Grand Junction, Colo., died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at St. Marys Hospital, Grand Junction.

He was born Sept. 24, 1953, in WaKeeney to Elmer and Darlene (Naiman) Goddard.

He was a heavy equipment sirt construction company owner.

Survivors include his fiance, Stephanie Perrin, Marble, Colo.; a son, Michael Goddard and wife, Lisa, San Diego; two brothers, David Goddard and wife, Jill, Russell, and George Riffel and companion, Jeanette, Ness City; two sisters, Gloria Harris and husband, Duane, Stockton, and Terrie Goddard, Salina; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Jo Goddard.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City; burial in Morland City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
