Kirstin Renae Nelson, 28, Ellis, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in Ellis County as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born March 27, 1984, in Hays to Greg Unrein and Juanita (Landwehr). She married Eric Nelson on Oct. 22, 2011.

She was employed as a housekeeper at Days Inn, Ellis. She was a former certified nurse's aide at Trego Manor, WaKeeney, and Good Samaritan Society, Ellis.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Lucina Unrein and Chandra Nelson, both of the home; her mother, Juanita Parson, and step-father, Wayne, Ellis; a brother, Bryson Parson, Ellis; her mother-in-law, Sharon Nelson, Madison, Wis.; and her grandmother, Jeanette Parson, Ellis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Greg Unrein; paternal grandmother, Judy Unrein; maternal grandparents, Urban and Rose Landwehr and her grandpa, Claude Parson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis, KS 67637.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Kirstin Nelson Memorial Fund to be used according to the wishes of the family in care of the funeral home.
