Larry F. Robben, 65, Oakley, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Logan County Hospital, Oakley.

He was born Oct. 16, 1946, in Colby to Francis and Laverna (Lintel) Robben. He was a 1964 graduate of Oakley High School. He married Alice Engel on March 30, 1985. He was an owner and operator of Oakley Motors for 43 years.

He was a member of Oakley Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Anita Novacek and husband, Steve, Wichita, Tanya Schwarz and husband, Todd, Rexford, and Misty Hockersmith and fiance, Rod Swart, Oakley; two brothers, Dan Robben and wife, Chris, Oakley, and Mike Robben, WaKeeney; two sisters, Linda Howard and husband, John, WaKeeney, and Lana Sue Wilson and husband, Steve, Colby; six grandchildren, Tori, Trey and Tristan Schwarz, Logan and Cory Mead, and Gage Robben-Wooley; and a great-grandchild, Tatium Schwarz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Eric Robben, in 2011.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Oakley; burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Oakley.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley.

A vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society in care of the mortuary.
