Laura Allen, 68, Phillipsburg, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg.

She was born Oct. 13, 2945, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Max and Mae Frances (Varley) Belgrade.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis, of the home; a son, Mark Allen, Phillipsburg; three daughters, Dawn Bogart, Corinna Johnson and Monica Christensen, all of Phillipsburg; two brothers, Steven Belgrade, New London, Conn., and Cory Belgrade, Hawthorne, N.J.; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Community Church of God, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

She will lie in state from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in care of the funeral home.
