Laurene G. Dickman, 87, Grinnell, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter.

She was born Dec. 14, 1924, in Sheridan County to John H. and Louise (Marcotte) Kruse.

She married David F. "Dave" Dickman on Feb. 19, 1946, in Angelus. He preceded her in death in 1965. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Daryl Dickman and wife, Arletta, Grinnell; four daughters, Diane Heiman and husband, Steve, Belleville, Kathy Banister and husband, George, McDonald, Susan Cornelius and husband, Terry, Wichita, and Stacie Martin and husband, Lonnie, Topeka; two brothers, John H. Kruse Jr., Wichita, and Beryl Kruse, Nashville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Kruse and Robert Kruse; a grandson; and a great-grandson.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell; burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Angelus.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, both at the church parish center.

A rosary/wake will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the center.

Memorials are suggested to Grinnell Senior Center or Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care in care of Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home, P.O. Box 221, Oakley, KS 67748.
