Laurina (Rohleder) Kuhn, 92, Victoria, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Via Christi Village, Hays.

She was born May 7, 1922, in Emmeram to Peter N. and Clara (Toepfer) Rohleder.

She married Clarence Kuhn on Sept. 15, 1941, in Emmeram. He preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1987. She was a homemaker, farmer and a cook for many years.

She was a member of Basilica of St. Fidelis, Christian Mothers, Daughters of Isabella, the Third Age Commission and Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post No. 1751 and past president, all of Victoria.

She was a member of St. John's Nursing Home Auxiliary and Northwest Kansas Associating of the Visually Impaired. She moved off the farm at Emmeram in 1993 into Victoria.

Survivors include a son, Richard Kuhn and wife, Judy, Hays; three daughters, Elizabeth Marcotte, Hyattsville, Md., Margaret Mader and husband, Art, Brighton, Colo., Barbara Kuhn and husband, Tommy Parks, Chicago; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Kuhn, Lees Summit, Mo.; a brother, Frank Rohleder, Hays; a sister, Mary Strunk, Clearwater; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Clarence J. Kuhn; a son-in-law, Jack Marcotte; four brothers, George, Otto, Alfred, and Herb Rohleder; and a sister, Helen Symmonds.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at The Basilica of St. Fidelis, Victoria; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery Emmeram.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Thursday, both at Cline's Mortuary of Hays 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, KS 67601.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, a Daughters of Isabella/Christian Mothers/ V.F.W. Auxiliary rosary and memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m., all at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to the Basilica of St. Fidelis or Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund, in care of the mortuary.
