Clara Leikam, 88, Hays, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Hays Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 28, 1921, in St. Peter to Andrew and Margaret (Brungardt) Knoll.
She married Edgar Leikam on July 28, 1945, in St. Peter. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, of Hays Good Samaritan Center; two sons, David, Hays, and Gary, Austin, Texas; a brother, Andrew Knoll, Hays; two sisters, Annette Leikam, Hays, and Armella Gaschler, Denver; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday, both at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine.
A vigil will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
