Leo M. Walker, 83, Stockton, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.
He was born May 25, 1930, in rural Rooks County to Loyal M. and Dora (Hoar) Walker.
He married Lorine (Graham) Walker on Oct. 4, 1949, in Phillipsburg. He owned and operated Leo M. Walker Sand & Gravel for more than 62 years in Rooks County.
Survivors include four sons, Jim Walker and John Walker and wife, Darlene, all of Stockton, Joe Walker, Bucklin, and Jay Walker and wife, Dayna, Buffalo, Okla.; four daughters, Marcia Duncan and Rhonda Walker, both of Stockton, Saundra Ford, Albany, La., and Phyllis Gengler, Beloit; a brother, Verl Walker and wife, Corolla, Folsom, Calif.; two sisters, Wanda Jo Walker, Stockton, and Anita Jo Cordill, Rockwall, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Walker; two grandchildren; and a step-grandson.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Stockton; burial in Stockton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 723 N First, Stockton, KS 67669.
