Leona L. Jenisch, 91, Odin, died Friday, May 16, 2008.

She was born Aug. 26, 1916, in Odin to Emil and Josephine (Zorn) Schneweis.

She married Arthur Jenisch on Oct. 16, 1946, in Odin. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2002. She was a registered nurse at St. Rose Hospital, Great Bend.

Survivors include a son, Mel Jenisch, Wichita; and a brother, Edwin Schneweis, Great Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Odin; burial in Holy Family Cemetery, Odin.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today, followed by an Altar Society rosary, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Golden Belt Home Heath and Hospice, Great Bend, or Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita, in care of the funeral home.
