Leonard C. Werner, 79, Plainville, died Thursday, April 4, 2013, at his home.
He was born Sept. 14, 1933, in Rooks County to Joseph and Antonette "Nettie" (Larson) Werner.
He married Lucille Hrabe on Feb. 20, 1998, in Plainville.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a stepdaughter, Kari Hosier, Plainville; three brothers, Richard Werner and Ron Werner, both of Plainville, and Vernon Werner, Flagler, Colo.; a sister, Mary Lee Schmidtberger, Pratt; two step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville, with a private family inurnment.
