Leonilda "Nilda" Hall, 90, formerly of Hays, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at Fort Dodge Soldiers Home, Fort Dodge.

She was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Padovi, Italy, to Giuseppe and Amelia (Toros) Ribarich.

She married Ralph J. Orth on Sept. 22, 1948, in Triestie, Italy. They moved to the United States. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 1960. She later married Robert I. Hall on July 1, 1968, in Salina. She was a homemaker and worked at Mellers Photo for 10 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.

She was involved with bowling leagues and bridge clubs, and was an avid reader and enjoyed music.

Survivors include her husband, Fort Dodge; two daughters, Darlene Gansel and husband, Richard, Hill City, and Patricia Herbig and husband, David, Blue Springs, Mo.; four grandchildren, Phillip Gansel and Patrick Gansel, both of Hill City, Shana Herbig, Austin, Texas, and Laura Herbig, Spokane, Wash.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Richelle Herbig.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Humane Society of the High Plains in care of the funeral home.
