Leta Johnson

Leta Johnson, 94, Goodland, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Windsor Estates, Salina.

She was born Feb. 17, 1914, in Bird City to Ira and Pearl (Weinstein) Elliott. She attended school in Cheyenne County and graduated from Bird City High School.

She married Harry E. Johnson were married on June 10, 1946, in Norton. He preceded her in death July 11, 2005. She was a homemaker.

Survivors includes five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Elliot Braun.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Mountain time Saturday at Koons Chapel, Goodland; burial in Goodland Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Mountain time Friday at the chapel.

Memorials are suggested to Windsor Estates, Salina, in care of the funeral home.
