Lewis Allen Worcester

Lewis Allen Worcester, 49, Elbert, Colo., died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009.

He was born Dec. 24, 1959, in Hill City to Allen and Dorothy Worcester. He was a 1981 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture, attended graduate school at Oklahoma State University, graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with a master's degree in business administration in 1991, and graduated from University of Denver with a master's degree in taxation in 1994.

He married Debra VanHouten on May 27, 1989. He was employed at El Paso Corp.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Alexis and Michaela; his step-children, Nathan, Clarity and Jillian Sayre; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Summitt Center at Mountain Springs Church, 7345 Adventure Way, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Memorials are suggested to Pikes Peak Hospice and Pallative Care, 825 Pike Peaks Ave., Ste. 600, Colorado Springs, Colo. 90903, or New Hope Uganda Ministries, P.O. Box 154, Belle Fourche, S.D. 57717.
