Linette Marie (Schmidt) Mills, 59, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, Okla.

She was born Oct. 4, 1953, in Hays to Bennie and Ann Schmidt. She was a 1971 graduate of Plainville High School.

She fought a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis since 1999.

Survivors include her husband, Rusty, of the home; two sons, Chris Finnesy and wife, Norie, Fukuoka, Japan, and Terry Finnesy and wife, Lynn, Plainville; a daughter, Paula (Finnesy) Thaxton and husband, Travis, Owasso, Okla.; her mother, Ann Schmidt, Hays; a brother; two sisters; and four grandchildren, Destiny, Foster, Brunson and Kaiya.

She was preceded in death by her father, a sister and a brother.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Kernke Chapel, Oklahoma City; additional services will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville.

Memorials are suggested to the MS Society of Oklahoma, 6051 N. Brookline Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73112.
