Loeta McCall, 83, Stockton, formerly of Woodston, Colorado and Phillipsburg, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg.

She was born in Hastings, Neb., to Albert E. and Nora Mae (DeButts) Thayer.

She married Dale McCall in 1947 in Stockton. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was a cook for many years at Wooden Shoe Preschool, Arvada, Colo.

Survivors include a son, Dale L. McCall, Federal Heights, Colo.; three daughters, Carol J. Serefko and Devena Sabell, both of Stockton, and Sondra Huscher, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Frank Thayer, Stockton, and Michael Thayer, Grand Prairie, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

There will be no services.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, with family present from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to reflect and share memories at Kemp Family Funeral Chapel, Stockton.

Memorials are suggested to American Lung Association, Phillips County Retirement Center,or Hospice in care of the funeral home.
