Lorene Ann Miller, 93, Stockton, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at Hays Good Samaritan Center.
She was born March 15, 1919, in Victoria to Joseph and Anna (Hammerschmidt) Kuhn.
She married Robert Miller on Oct. 19, 1942, in Victoria. He preceded her in death April 16, 2011. They were married for 68 years.
She enjoyed taking care of her family and playing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, quilting and dancing, and spending time with her husband driving along the countryside.
She was a member of Christian Mothers, St. Thomas Catholic Church, St. Thomas Altar Society and Sunflower Polka Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Lois Gasper and husband, Daniel, Stockton; three grandchildren, Joseph Gasper and wife, Megan, Laura Gasper-Moffet and husband, Don, all of Stockton, and Anna Gasper, Minnesota; and four great-grandchildren, Madison Moffet, Maximus Moffet, Jackson Gasper and Meredith Gasper.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Robert Miller Jr.; two brothers, Alfred Kuhn and Edward Kuhn; and two sisters, Viola Popp and Almeda Stecklein.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Stockton; burial in St. Thomas Cemetery, Stockton.
Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton.
A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas Catholic Church or Masses in care of the funeral home.
