Lorene M. Mongeau, 93, Wichita, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014.

She was a retired registered nurse for Wichita Pediatric Associates.

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and Air Capital Rose Society.

Survivors include two sisters, Mona Hamel and husband, Jasper, Hays, and Delores Meyers, Plainville; a sister-in-law, Grace Mongeau, Plainville; eight nieces; seven nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Nelda (Thyfault) Mongeau; her siblings, Alma, Levi, Robert and James Mongeau; her longtime friend, Dr. Katherine Pennington; and a brother-in-law, Joe Meyers.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Wichita Presbyterian Manor, followed by a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the manor.

Visitation will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, followed by a rosary at 7:30 p.m., both at Hays Memorial Chapel, 1906 Pine, Hays, KS 67601.

Additional services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville; burial in Zurich Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Guadalupe Clinic, 940 S. St. Francis, Wichita, KS 67211, the Lord’s Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214, or Presbyterian Manor staff appreciation fund, 4700 W. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67212, in care of Downing and Lahey West.
