Loris Jean Jacka, 90, Quinter, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care, Quinter.
She was born July 26, 1923, in Ransom to Carl and Mary Davis Frye.
She married Delaine Jacka on May 31, 1941, in WaKeeney.
She was a lifetime resident of Ness and Gove counties and a member of First Christian Church, Utica. She was an active member of both the Utica and Quinter communities.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three daughters, Kay (Robert) Curtis, Ransom, Donita (Larry) Boles, Lake Havasu, Ariz., and Wanita Cook (Doug Roemer), Grainfield; eight grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sheree Chestnut; a great-granddaughter, Tristan Baker; a brother, Herbert Frye; and two sisters, Iris Carrabino and Marian Frye.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Utica; inurnment following in Utica Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church, Gove County Medical Center, Gove County Ambulance Service or the donor's choice.
