Lowell R. Lund, 81, Waldo, died Friday, July 19, 2013, at Via Christi-St. Francis Burn Center, Wichita.

He was born Dec. 28, 1931, in Osborne County to Harold and Alma (Bradshaw) Lund. He was a graduate of Osborne High School.

He married Janice Murphy in Covert. He ran the Lund's Dairy Air for over 40 years.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, of the home; two sons, Rod Lund, Osborne, and Rick Lund, Lincoln; two daughters, Tammy Schultze, Waldo, and Trudy Kamphaus, Udall; a brother, Doyle Lund, Osborne; two sisters, Marvelene Schreiber and Phyllis Kreft, both of Osborne; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Rex.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Paradise United Methodist Church; burial in Osborne City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday with family present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman Varner Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to Paradise United Methodist Church, or Osborne County Memorial Hospital in care of the mortuary.
