Luella W. Parker, 86, Long Island, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at Norton County Hospital.

She was born May 17, 1923, in Long Island to John T. and Gladys (Graham) Brees.

She married Harold O. Parker on July 19, 1942, in Norton. She was a grocery store keeper in Long Island for many years.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Lauren, Goodland; a sister, Arleta Vincent, Norton; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Robert in 2008; and an infant son, Leland.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Long Island United Methodist Church; cremation has taken place.

Friends can sign the book until 5 p.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to Long Island United Methodist Church, or Long Island Community Center in care of the funeral home.
