Lyle G. Schiedeman, 62, Warner, Okla., formerly of La Crosse, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.

He was born Feb. 10, 1949, in Hays to Arthur and Neva (Williamson) Schiedeman.

He married Connie Kahle on April 14, 1973, in Herington. He worked in road and highway construction as a foreman with Duit Construction Co., Edmond, Okla.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a member of United Methodist Church, La Crosse.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Kyle Schiedeman, Denver; two sisters, Linda Seymour and husband, John, La Crosse, and Janis Mullinnix, Aurora, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, 220 Washington, La Crosse; burial in La Crosse City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. until time of service Saturday, both at the church.
