Mabel Mildred (James) Fagan, 92, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Logan County Manor, Oakley.

She was born April 19, 1921, in central Osborne County to Morris and Mary (Sherbon) James. She attended Osborne High School and graduated from Central Christian Academy, McPherson.

She married Leroy Fagan in Concordia. He preceded her in death. She was elected as clerk of court and served until she retired in 1998.

Survivors include four children, Ronald Fagan, Florissant, Colo., Raymond Fagan, Oakley, Linda Kaufman, Dodge City, and Kelly Fagan, Hulbert, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gove Community Bible Church; burial in Gove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Christian Women's Fellowship in care of Schmitt Funeral Home, 901 S. Main, Quinter, KS 67652.
