Madeline Eleanor Moran

Madeline Eleanor Moran, 93, Plainville, died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.

She was born Feb. 26, 1917, in rural Madison to John E. and Ruth (Tatman) Fletcher. She was a graduate of Lamont High School.

She married Raymond Moran on May 27, 1937, in Tucson, Ariz. She was a clerk until retirement at Western Power, Plainville.

Survivors include her husband, of the family home; a son, Jerry Moran, Hays; a daughter Leah Rampy, McLean, Va.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Plainville; burial in Plainville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today at Mosher-Kemp Family Funeral Home, Plainville.

Memorials are suggested to Rooks County Health Care Foundation or United Methodist Church of Plainville in care of the funeral home.
