Mae Marie Heyen, 88, Kinsley, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Larned Health Care and Living Center.
She was born April 30, 1924, in Larned to Albert and Esther Peterson Mostrom.
She married Willis Edwin Heyen on Aug. 10, 1947, in Garfield. He preceded her in death July 21, 1993. She loved flowers and worked seasonally at Colony Greenhouse, Kinsley. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Congregational Church, Kinsley.
Survivors include a son, Craig Heyen, Kinsley; two daughters, Arlene Werth, Hays, and Connie Cates, Wichita; a sister, Emma Olson, Garfield; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Mostrom; and a sister, Vickie Jellison.
Graveside services were Tuesday in Hillside Cemetery, Kinsley.
