Marjorie Mighell, 77, Russell, formerly of Milberger, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at her home.

She was born Sept. 28, 1935, in Milberger to Harold and Esther (Blehm) Nuss. She grew up in Russell and attended Russell public schools and was a 1954 graduate of Russell High School.

She married Roger H. Mighell on May 19, 1957, in Russell. He preceded her in death Feb. 27, 2005. She was manager of Show Off Fashions.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Albrecht, Kingwood, Texas, and Denise Stritt, Hays; a brother, Dean Nuss, Russell; two sisters, Dorothy Funk, Russell, and Kay Gaines, Redmond, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church; burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Russell.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church or Russell VFW Post No. 6240 in care of the mortuary.
