Marvin Argus Fabrizius, 66, WaKeeney, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Robert J. Dole VA Hospital, Wichita.

He was born April 1, 1947, in WaKeeney to Argus R. and Adeline Anna Pauline (Keller) Fabrizius. He attended WaKeeney schools.

He married Caroline Evans in 1969. He later married Rose Farber in 1979. He owned and operated M and R Repair, which closed in 1990. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam war.

Survivors include five sons, Marvin and David, both of Virginia, Clayton, Arizona, Luke, Manhattan, and Lance, Independence; a stepson, Jeff Farber; a stepdaughter, Beverly Farber; two brothers, Melvin and Myron, both of WaKeeney; two sisters, Diann, Larned, and Denice, Kansas City; and numerous grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Dorothy Lawyer, in 2012; and a stepdaughter, Barb Farber.

Services will be  10 a.m. Friday  at Immanuel Lutheran Church, WaKeeney; burial in Kansas Veterans Cemetery, WaKeeney, with military honors by Fort Riley Honor Guard.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney.

Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church, WaKeeney, VFW Post No. 3449 or American Legion Moore Post No 197 in care of the funeral home.
