Mary E. (Weigel) Kreutzer, 87, Ellis, died Friday, May 30, 2014, at Redbud Village, Plainville.

She was born Feb. 2, 1927, in Ellis to John and Elizabeth (Storm) Weigel.

She married Louis F. Kreutzer on Aug. 10, 1948. He preceded her in death April 17, 2004. She was a homemaker, worked at Jade Cleaners, Miller's IGA, Rich's IGA and Travenol.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella, both of Ellis.

Survivors include a son, Ron Kreutzer, Olathe; three daughters, Albertha Stegman and husband, Joe, Gladewater, Texas, Mary Lou McDonald and Denis Vine, Ellis, and Linda Deutscher and husband, Stan, Plainville; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers, Val, Frank, Ray, Father Ed, Albert and Rich Weigel.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church; burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, both at Keithley Funeral Chapel, 400 E. 17th, Ellis, KS 67637.

A Daughters of Isabella rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, followed by a vigil at 7 p.m., both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to St. Mary Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
