Mary Lou Gooden, 65, Natoma, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.

She was born July 4, 1948, in Natoma to John E. and Hortense J. (Russell) Maupin.

She married Nile Lynn Gooden on Nov 19, 1993, in Russell.

Survivors include her husband, Natoma; four daughters, Stella McNett and Angela Dewey, both of Glenmora, La., Goldie Lindsey, Natoma, and Vickie Johnson, St. Joseph, Mo.; two brothers, Johnny Maupin and Mike Maupin, both of Dodge City; a sister, Sue Petty, Osborne; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Natoma Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Mary Gooden Memorial Fund in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 SW Second St., Plainville, KS 67663
