Mary R. (Wolfers) Schneider, 87, Russell, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Wilson.

She was born Dec. 18, 1925, in Tipton to Joe and Mary (Hollerich) Wolfers. She was a graduate of Tipton High School and attended Brown Mackie College, Salina.

She married Clarence Pete Schneider in 1972 in Las Vegas. She was owner and operator of Red's Chicken House, Russell.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Wilson; a son, Kenneth Beiker, Nickerson; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bob Bieker.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell; private family burial will take place following the service.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
