Mary Ruth Cain, 69, Plainville, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 17, 1943, in Hays to Richard and Esther (Dougherty) Wise.

She married Glen Cain on June 21, 1986, in Plainville.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Scott Thompson, Plainville, and Michael Thompson, Russell; two daughters, Lori Bailey, Houston, and Bethany Durling, Vineland, N.J.; two sisters, Jane Simpson, Berthoud, Colo., and Barbara McLauglin, Stockton; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Thompson.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Nazarene, Plainville; inurnment in Shiloh Cemetery, rural Rooks County.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials are suggested to Church of the Nazarene, Plainville, in care of Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 S.W. Second St., Plainville, KS 67663.
