Maxine Margerite Desaire

Maxine Margerite Desaire, 74, Hill City, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Graham County Hospital, Hill City.

She was born Aug. 3, 1938, in Hill City to Louis and Edna V. (Wahlborg) Derringer.

She married Exavier Desaire on April 12, 1958. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include custodial nephews, William Wilkinson and wife, Lani, Lakin, Leon Wilkinson and Scott Wilkinson, both of Hays, and Chris Wilkinson and wife, Andrea, Smith Center; a sister, Rachel Tilford, Puyallup, Wash.; eight adopted grandchildren, J.R. Wilkinson, Kristian Schukman, Ambrosee Wilkinson, Nikki Wilkinson, Andrew Wilkinson, Alex Wilkinson, Occean Hickel and Dakotta Hickel.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Damar; burial in Hill City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City, and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
