Michael Albert Anthony Kinderknecht, 49, Victoria, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in Hays.

He was born Sept. 12, 1963, in Hays to Donald and Virginia (Legleiter) Kinderknecht.

He married Roberta Dawn Foster on Oct. 15, 2005, in WaKeeney.

He was a laborer at Cross Manufacturing of Hays and had been a pumper in the oilfields.

He enjoyed four-wheeling, NFL and college football and was a classic car enthusiast.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Donald James Kinderknecht, of the home; a stepdaughter, Kaylyn Foster, of the home; his mother, Hays; two brothers, John Kinderknecht, Hutchinson, and Carl Kinderknecht, Hays; and four sisters, Susie Erbacher and Theresa Hoag, both of Hays, Kimberly Farber, Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Dana Schmidt, Parker, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Marty Kinderknecht; and a sister, Debbie Kinderknecht.

Private family memorial services will take place; inurnment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays.

Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials are suggested to go toward his children's education fund in care of the funeral home.
