Micheal J. Miller, 51, Ottumwa, Iowa, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

He was born March 28, 1960, in Plainville to James and LaVon Ellen Clark Miller.

He graduated from Russell High School and served in the U.S. Navy.

He worked in construction for many years, specializing in work with drywall and plaster.

Survivors include a daughter, Elisabeth LaDene Miller, Dorrance; twins, Joshua and Marjorie Hackler; four sisters, Gay Lynn Desair, Plainville, Kimberly Horinek, Eagle Mountain, Utah, Jamie Gallagher, Grand Junction, Colo., and Jennifer McMennamin of Tucson, Ariz.; his stepfather, Melvin Kats, Long Island; and his grandparents, Aaron and Mildred Clark, Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents and a nephew, Ryan Desair.

Cremation has taken place. Services will be at a later date; inurnment will be in Palco.

Memorials can be made to the Hope Lodge.
