Mike Swarts, 48, San Antonio, formerly of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his home.

He was born June 30, 1964, in Herington to Leslie and Joan (Hogue) Swarts.

He was an auto mechanic.

Survivors include his father, Les Swarts and wife, Sylvia, Phillipsburg; his mother, Joan Roberts, Higby, Mo.; three brothers, Curtis Swarts, Fort Riley, and Kenny Roberts and Russell Roberts, both of Moberly, Mo.; and three sisters, Angie Johanek, Cawker City, Lesley Nisbet, Lockney, Texas, and Teresa Andrews, Centralia, Mo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; cremation has taken place.

Friends can sign the memory book until 5 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Teach a Kid to Fish in Kansas or the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
