Mildred C. Marple, 101, Phillipsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg.

She was born July 31, 1911, in Phillips County to Forest and Ollie (McQueen) King.

Survivors include a son, Gary, Forest, Va.; a daughter, Rachel Ellis, Phillipsburg; a sister, Dixie Young, Lancaster, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Donald; and a daughter, Shirley Allen.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; burial in Kirwin Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, both at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Phillips County Retirement Center or Westview Senior Club in care of the funeral home.
