Mildred H. Jones, 92, Phillipsburg, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at her home.

She was born June 10, 1917, in Athol to Otto and Ella (Horeis) Windscheffel.

She married Joseph William Jones on Feb. 18, 1940, in Gaylord. He preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1967. She worked at the ASCS Office, Phillipsburg, prior to retiring in 1982.

Survivors include a son, Richard Jones, Phillipsburg; a granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a grandaughter on June 11, 2006.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at United Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center.

Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 563 Phillipsburg, KS 67661.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Services or United Presbyterian Church in care of the funeral home.
